Lesson Rate Update and Holiday Discounts

From now through December 31st, all lesson prices on my website are discounted for both new and returning students. Starting January 1st, my standard hourly lesson rate will increase to $100/hr, but my 6-hour and 12-hour lesson packs will remain discounted at 10% and 15% off going forward.

If you’ve been thinking about getting started, restarting lessons, or gifting lessons for the holidays, this is the best time to do it. All prices you see here already reflect the seasonal discount, so no coupon codes or extra steps needed.

About My Lessons

My name is Blake Baldwin, and I can be your musical guide.

I can help you learn to play the songs you want to play and write the songs you want to write.

I have over 15 years of teaching experience, working with students from eight to eighty years old, both privately and for various programs including CalArts’ CAP program, Sunset Learning Studio, artworxLA, and Long Lake Camp for the Arts. I offer private and group music lessons and coaching, and I’m well-versed in just about every style of rock and pop playing—from indie and classic rock to blues and even death metal.

A Bit About Me

I’m a multi-instrumentalist, session musician, singer-songwriter, composer, and a 2014 MFA graduate from the Herb Alpert School of Music’s Performer-Composer program. Since graduating, I’ve performed across the U.S. and have had songs featured on shows like SNL, Hacks (HBO), and Mr. Inbetween (FX).

I teach in-person lessons at my home studio in San Pedro, CA, or online if you’re not local.
